Pros/Cons of Do It Yourself vs Kits: Hydrogen on Demand

I've tried to gather on this blog 3 things: information about products, companies and news related to water fuel cells aka water hybrids, hydrogen fuel injection systems, and hho gas generators all names for the same technology. There are two options out there today for consumers seeking to take advantage of this proven technology: complete kits or do it yourself ebooks. See review list on the right of the page.

The pros of do it yourself are easy to identify. A) costs--you can build and install one for less money and B) gain valuable experience doing so and possibly start a business out of it. The cons are that this will require you to invest some of your time to get there. If you're not handy with mechanical things, it's probably not for you. Instead, you should seek some of the complete systems and have someone else install it for you.

The pros of the complete kit is that it will save you time and you will have less worry about making mistakes. The problem is that the systems are expensive and range in price from $1000-$4000. Certifications in the various products do not yet exist but from the manufacturers I have talked to these are coming. And if you are a mechanic, you should definitely be investigating this technology because it is HOT!!!!! In fact, if I were a mechanic or handy person serious about taking advantage of the economic conditions of the day and increased fuel prices, I might be inclined to buy all of these ebooks.
